Marc Thevenin
Director of Engineering
Mr. Thevenin joined PCA in 2005 to lead PCA's engineering development and quality control practices.   A highly-accomplished database engineer, Marc brings over 25 years experience in various software development, team leadership and quality control disciplines.
Prior to PCA, Marc led business software solutions with SunGard BSR, EF Educational Tours and UUA.  Mr. Thevenin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Emmanuel College of Management, and served as co-chair of the Technology Committee of the Mass Biotech Council.   Marc remains active in the Boston software development community through mentoring and instructional lectures.
Viktor Vajda
Lead Architect
Mr. Vajda joined PCA in 2007, and is primarily responsible for the direction and management of the PCA Smart Client Foundation System.   Prior to PCA, Viktor served on Boston University’s Biomedical Engineering Research Faculty.  As one of only two full-time software professionals in the Department, Viktor was heavily involved in the design and creation of 3D data visualization applications, dynamic, data-driven web applications, parallel large-scale computing, biological and mathematical modeling, and bioinformatics database design initiatives.
Before joining Boston University as full-time faculty, Viktor received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Computer Systems Engineering from Boston University’s College of Engineering.
Peter Lemay, CPA,  Senior Finance Engineer
Peter Lemay has worked with PCA since 1992 to provide business analysis and system integration expertise in the financial services and accounting domains.   Peter has extensive knowledge of the database design, and is frequently called into Client projects to solve particularly complex accounting needs.
Prior to PCA, Peter was CEO of ABD, a leader in state securities processing, a Management Consultant with Price Waterhouse, and a Financial and Systems Analyst for Exxon Company USA.  Mr. Lemay graduated summa cum-laude from Boston College with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Computer Science, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Jim Hansen
Senior Science Engineer
Mr. Hansen joined PCA in November 2011.   Prior to PCA, Jim worked for ten years in the SQL Server group at Microsoft. Prior to Microsoft, Jim spent a few years developing a suite of .NET database applications for the Engineering Is Elementary program at the Museum of Science, Boston, and 7 years working with bioinformatics databases and real time control systems in the life sciences instrumentation field.
Jim received a Bachelor of Science in civil-environmental engineering and Master of Science in Toxicology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and an Master of Science in environmental engineering from Stanford.
Batcheva Spiegal
Project Manager
Ms. Spiegel joined PCA in 2011 to lead PCA Project Management practices. Batsheva has extensive software development experience, including 8 years at the XMPIE Inc. (acquired by Xerox).  Batsheva combines engineering competencies in ASP.Net(C#) and SQL Server with exceptional team management and communication skills, and is highly skilled in each aspect of the software lifecycle, from design to development, through QA and customer support.
Batsheva earned a duel Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Psychology from The Hebrew University (Jerusalem, Israel) and a Master of Arts in Educational Counseling from Bar-Ilan University.
